In the beginning, it was just a small idea – a vision that started quietly: to create a sculpture for Berblinger's 255th birthday. What began as a personal passion quickly developed an incredible momentum, spread, touched, and inspired people in a way I hadn't expected.

I quickly realized how much Berblinger's story continues to resonate. Many feel connected to his fate in one way or another. His courage, his dreams, his failure – perhaps we recognize a part of ourselves in them.

Over the months, more and more artists and fellow craftspeople joined in. Each in their own mode of expression – and yet, the same spirit connects us: compassion and the memory of a man who was far ahead of his time.

In the end, something emerged that far exceeded my expectations: a real celebration. It's not about profit or calculation, but about togetherness. About sharing inspiration, conviction, dedication, and courage.

It fills me with deep joy to see how something great can arise from a quiet idea – something that touches hearts, brings people together, and lets us feel a piece of Berblinger's spirit. It reflects the soul of what community and true values are all about, and shows how powerful passion and empathy can be.
